Plan Ahead

Ensure that your experience is both enjoyable and safe. To achieve this, aim to create a list that provides all the essentials, whether that be camping gear, food and water, hygienic needs, navigation, survival gear,

What to Bring

Camping Gear

Sleeping bag, tent, tarp, bear-proof canister (essential for smellables).

Food and Water

Depending on the number of nights you're camping for, make sure to bring enough food and water for each day. Coming up with a meal plan for breakfast, lunch, and dinner is helpful. Water bottles or a water filter will come in handy.

Hygiene

Conditioner, deodorant, shampoo, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste.

Navigation

If you plan on travelling (hiking) a fair distance away from the campsite, ensure that you're bringing naviational devices with you so you can make it back safely. A compass, or physical map would be important to have with you.
