Outdooring Rules and Guidelines
Basic Outdooring Rules
These are general recommendations/rules you should follow when doing anything in the outdoors.

Leave No Trace
Take designated trails, leave places better than you found them, and don't disturb wildlife by feeding or approaching them.

Pack it In, Pack it Out
Minimize your trash. Any bars, bottles, or food that will become waste during your trip should be packed back into your bag to throw away at home. Try to not completely tear items into multiple pieces, it keeps it cleaner and easier to manage.

Be Prepared
Plan out your route, pack the ten essentials, and let someone you trust know your itinerary.

Stay Safe
Check the weather before you go, plan for unexpected weather regardless. Keep a GPS and extra food and water with you.

Trail Ettiquite
Make sure you know right of way rules, such as horses have right of way to hikers and bikers. When passing hikers coming different directions, right of way goes to the hikers going uphill. Always be friendly to other trail-takers, it makes everyone's experience better.

Buddy System
No matter how old you are, we highly recommend outdooring with a friend or partner. Traveling together can lighten loads and save lives if someone gets injured.
